Drumscapes is a solo studio/live project created by Mark Heaney.
Drumscapes features Mark's live drums against a backdrop of intricate soundscapes fusing music from Jazz, Trip Hop, Drum and Bass, Electronica, and others.
Live, Mark uses an LPD8 and Ableton live which enables manipulation of the audio in the moment allowing for improvisation within the framework of the tracks.
"Drumscapes is a project I had been wanting to make happen for years. A chance for me to express myself in exactly the way I have always wanted to with no compromises. To create music that not only showcases the drums but that reflects life experience, emotions, the human condition".
